Planting in the morning and a tough day on the soccer pitch as both the Comets and L'il
Leopards go down to defeat in their final game of the season. However, it's amazing how a
nice long birthday/block party can make you forget tough games!

Finally got the release candidate build of the application to go to production next week
so tonight I get to work on the massive backlog of pictures! :)

It's been very busy at work lately as we push toward release to production in the middle of
May. However, I can make a dent on the backlog today starting with the pictures from the
NYC trip!

Two exciting games yesterday! During the 1130 game, Katie and the L'il Leopards fell behind 2-0 at
the half but came all the way back to win the game 3-2. In the 1430 game, the Comets were locked
in a defensive battle at 0-0 at the half but then stormed their way to a 5-1 win. They almost had a
clean sheet win as Nicholas made one save and very nearly made a heroic second save at point-blank range
but couldn't quite get square to the shooter with only two seconds to move across the entire goal.

On a very stormy day...the clouds part long enough for Alex and Katie to get
their game in and play to a 5-5 draw. Katie had one great shot on goal that was destined
for the top-left corner but was defended at the last minute in the arc leading to a
corner kick instead.

A very busy week here in Raleigh...Alexander finishing up the Fall 2011 Therapeutic
riding class, Thanksgiving feast in Katie's classroom, and Katie has now joined
Nicholas in Tae Kwon Do class as the newest white belt.
